Most users will be drivers. Drivers are the ones who will do the charging, they can see and interact with Hosts and Chargers on the map through the app,
leaving ratings and reviews for our Hosts.
If there are any issues contacting the Charge Host is easy through the app in the contact section. Charging should be as easy as plugging in and starting your charge.
Charge Hosts are the users that choose to provide their charger on the network. They profit from their charger being used by drivers throughout the day.
Additionally giving them the ability to set the going rate for their charger per hour and share details about their charger on their Map Marker. Hosts get to see when a driver has left a review or rating, as well as they can choose to get notified when someone is using their charger.
Hosts can also add further detail to their charger listing such as offering free parking or potentially accommodation if the site is a BnB.
Visit the BuzzBay app available on anything with a browser, follow the login process and click “Become a Host” in the Profile Tab. Follow the steps, link your Stripe account for receiving payments. Then finally fill in a few details about your charger, and publish it to the map. (You can edit the charger anytime through the map or in the Dashboard)
Yes, when setting up your charger on the map rate slider will appear allowing you to set your chargers charge cost for Drivers who plug in. This slider can also be updated later on in the Dashboard under “View Charger Listing”. It is recommended however to keep the cost competitive as this may impact the number of Drivers using the site
We take 10%, so for example if a charge session cost $3.00 then the host would make $2.70 and we would charge $0.30 for operating the platform. This goes in part to keeping the servers online, app updates, and customer service, etc...
Yes, the data is stored in an encrypted form. We collect as little information as possible to effectively run the service. When a charger listing / user profile is removed all corresponding data associated with the charger listing / profile is removed with it to clean wipe the slate.
